Find Mentoring Organizations

Through "Mentoring the 100 Way" training program, we will ensure our volunteer members become certified mentors, advocates and role models for their youth. We will partner with various local agnecies to fill the "Mentor Gap" first. Education: Our goal is to support the "100"operates the Wimberley Initiative. Partner with local schools to engage in the S.T.E.P. (Students Tutorial Enrichment Program). Other current initiatives will include SAT/ACT preparatory classes and technology courses that assist the community as we strive to address the digital divide.

The 4-H After School Program engages boys and girls of diverse nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. The 4-H After School Program is fostering a creative and constructive environment for participants to engage their head, heart, hands and health.

4-H youth development education creates supportive environments for all youth and adults to reach their fullest potential. In support of this mission we provide formal and non-formal community focused experiential learning. We Develop skills that benefit youth throughout life. We foster leadership and volunteerism in youth and adults. We build partnership for programming and funding. We strengthen families and communities. We use research based knowledge and the land grant system. We foster environments that nurture the essential elements of learning.

Our mentoring program is supported by the US Department of Education Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. Our mentors work one-to-one with their young friend either at school or in the community. We offer all the training and support needed for a positive mentoring experience.

We help develop life skills, improve academics, while promoting athletics and the arts. We improve the mind and the man in African American/Black students.

We are an AmeriCorps Program with members placed throughout the county at a variety of health and human service organizations as well as schools. Some members serve as Big Brothers Big Sister Match Coordinators which others work with cross age mentoring at their sites. Our mission is to enhance the emotional, behavioral, social, physical and cognitive health of children, youth and families in Pierce County.

Our one-to-one mentoring program provides trained mentors to at-risk children in the Auburn School District and Auburn Youth Resources residential youth shelters. Our program strives to recruit and train caring adults who are willing to foster and maintain a healthy relationship with a youth.
