MENTOR is widely acknowledged as the nation's premier advocate and resource for the expansion of mentoring initiatives nationwide. As such, MENTOR works with a strong network of state and local Mentoring Partnerships to leverage resources and provide the support and tools that mentoring organizations need to effectively serve young people in their communities.  Washington State Mentors is one of 25 states who are working on a local level to close the mentoring gap.

The Pro-Build Fund provides support for the expansion of county-level mentoring partnerships, or "roundtables". By sharing ideas and resources as well as strategies for overcoming challenges specific to the county, these partnerships increase the effectiveness of organizations and reduce their costs to meet the present and future demand for mentoring. The Pro-Build Fund's support enables WSM to provide staff support to these partnerships.
