Taproot Foundation – Every year, hundreds of nonprofit organizations rely on the Taproot Foundation’s award winning Service Grant program to provide millions of dollars worth of pro bono marketing, HR, IT, and strategy management consulting services that better equip them to tackle our society’s toughest challenges. The Taproot Foundation exists to ensure all nonprofits have the infrastructure they need to thrive. Washington State Mentors was fortunate enough to have received a service-grant from Taproot to produce an annual report. Salesforce – In 2008 WSM was the recipient of a gift from Salesforce.com Foundation allowing WSM to use their constituent relationship management software at no charge in perpetuity. By using Salesforce.com to manage constituent relationships WSM can devote more time and resources to donor cultivation and mission fulfillment.
The Ginger & Barry Ackerley Foundation – In 2005 The Ginger & Barry Ackerley Foundation made a grant in the amount of $10,000 in support of WSM’s School Based Mentoring Initiative (SBMI). The support of such a well known and respected local foundation at such and early time in WSM’s development opened many doors for WSM and was a pivotal building block for future WSM initiatives. The services Washington State Mentors provides for the mentoring community are dependent on the support we receive from our supporters. Your contribution allows us to provide services that increase the capacity and quality of mentoring in Washington State.
